Preschool Programs *
Full Time:
Our Full Time Care & Preschool Program at The Learning Grove offers families a comprehensive early learning experience in a warm, nurturing environment. This option provides care Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This program includes our enriching preschool curriculum along with extended care that supports the needs of families.
Children enrolled in this program receive our preschool education Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM. During this dedicated preschool time, children engage in hands-on learning experiences designed to support early literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness through play-based, developmentally appropriate instruction.
In the afternoon, learning continues through intentional play, guided exploration, creative activities, outdoor experiences, and meaningful social interactions. Our educators thoughtfully plan opportunities that extend classroom learning, encourage curiosity, strengthen problem-solving skills, and support children’s overall development in an intentional, relaxed and engaging environment.
Through a balance of structured learning and purposeful play, children build essential academic, social, and life skills while developing confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our dedicated educators create a safe, welcoming environment where every child is valued and supported as they grow and thrive.
Preschool:
Our Preschool Program at The Learning Grove provides a nurturing and engaging environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Offered Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, this program is designed to support social, emotional, cognitive, fine motor, and physical development. Our curriculum combines hands-on activities, creative play, and early literacy and numeracy experiences.
Children are encouraged to discover their interests, develop independence, and build confidence through structured learning and child-led exploration. Our caring and experienced educators create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where curiosity is encouraged, individuality is celebrated, and every child is supported as they learn and grow.
Part Time Plus:
Our Part-Time Preschool Plus Program is designed specifically for families who need flexible care, while still providing a high-quality preschool experience. Children attend 2-3 days per week and participate in our preschool program from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM. After preschool, children can remain in our care until 6:00 PM, where the morning’s learning continues through hands-on activities, creative play, outdoor exploration, enrichment opportunities, and meaningful social interactions. This program allows children to benefit from a strong preschool foundation, while providing families with dependable care that fits their schedules.
Children engage in a balance of structured learning and play-based experiences throughout the day. Our preschool curriculum supports early academic growth, while afternoon activities extend and reinforce classroom learning in a fun and engaging way. In our supportive and nurturing environment, caring teachers help each child build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Drop-In Care:
Need occasional care outside of your child’s regular schedule? The Learning Grove offers preschool aged drop-in care on select non-school days, school breaks, and holidays when our center is open from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. This option is helpful for Part Time Plus and Preschool families who may need additional care beyond their child’s regularly scheduled days. Children will enjoy a fun and engaging day filled with hands-on activities, creative art projects, outdoor play, group games, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Drop-in care provides a wonderful opportunity for children to socialize, explore new interests, and continue learning in a familiar and nurturing environment. Availability is limited and offered for an additional fee.
**Our preschool programs are designed for children ages 3-5 years, who are fully potty trained.

Before and After School Care:
Our Before & After School Program at The Learning Grove provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for school-age children outside of regular school hours. In the morning, our staff help children start their day off right by providing a welcoming atmosphere and assisting with morning routines. We make sure children safety get on the bus and head off to school ready for a successful day, giving families peace of mind during busy days.
In the afternoon, our staff are there to greet children as they get off the bus and welcome them back to the center. After school, children will enjoy a snack, a variety of fun and engaging activities, including arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and opportunities to socialize with friends. Our program gives children a place to relax, have fun, and stay active while they wait to be picked up.
This program is a great option for families who need reliable care for their children before and after the school day. This option allows families to drop off their children at 7 AM, and pickup by 6 PM, Monday through Friday. At The Learning Grove, families can feel confident knowing their children are safe, cared for, and having fun before and after their school day.
Drop In Care:
Our School-Age Drop-In Care Program is available on non-school days, school breaks, teacher workdays, and holidays when The Learning Grove is open, from 7 AM to 6 PM. Designed for elementary-aged children, these special days are filled with exciting activities, themed projects, STEM challenges, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, games, and opportunities to build friendships. Whether families need care during a school closure or an occasional day off, children will enjoy a safe, engaging, and enriching environment that keeps them active and having fun. Drop-in care is available for an additional fee and is subject to space availability.
**Our school-age program is designed for children ages 5-12 years who are enrolled in kindergarten through elementary school.

Our Full-Time Summer Camp Program at The Learning Grove provides children with an exciting, adventure-filled summer in a safe and supportive environment. Available Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, this program offers a balance of recreation, enrichment, creativity, and fun throughout the summer months.
Each week features a unique theme that inspires hands-on activities, games, crafts, STEM projects, outdoor exploration, and special experiences related to the theme. Whether children are becoming scientists, explorers, artists, inventors, or adventurers, every week brings new opportunities to learn, create, build, friendships, and make lasting memories. Our dedicated staff create an engaging environment where children stay active, curious, and excited all summer long.
Part Time Summer Camp:
Our Part Time Summer Camp Program offers families the flexibility of enrolling their child for 2-3 full days per week while still enjoying all the excitement and enrichment of our summer camp experience. This option is perfect for families seeking a flexible summer schedule without missing out on the fun.
Each week is centered around a unique theme, with engaging activities, creative projects, outdoor play, games, STEM challenges, and hands-on learning experiences connected to that week’s adventure. Children have the opportunity to explore new interests, build friendships, and create unforgettable summer memories while participating in a program designed to keep them active, engaged and inspired throughout the summer.
